A little further dive into Philosophy!

Image
Who can disagree that there is an eternal war in this realm between good and evil; Of course, we all don’t wholly agree on what is good and what is evil or the parameters to define good or bad, though philosophers have even tried to quantify ethics somehow to give a universally acceptable scale about what is good and what is bad, using their theories, and we are going to discuss them too, but just not yet. But have you realized that there is yet another perpetual war taking place on this planet  since eternity, and this clash is  between the geniuses and their own curiosity,?   In a way we are caught up in a vicious cycle where we generate a question, find its reasonable answer, and then contradict it. It is like a paradox of paradoxes themselves. So, what are these big questions that have managed to intrigue and stump philosophers for so long? One of the first might best be phrased as:             ...

The Mystical World of Philosophy

Can you tell me why you do what you do? Why do you think what you think? Why do you feel what you feel? Some may say these are the same type of questions that I have asked before, in that case, let me rephrase it: Like, is the world just made up of matter and energy, or is there something else going on? And if it is just matter and energy, then where did it all come from? Is there a God? And if so, what is he, she, or it like? And for that matter, when you’re asking about the world, can you also be asking about the nature of yourself, as a citizen of the world. So what kind of being am I? Do I have a soul? Is there something immaterial about me that will survive after I die?  Twenty-five hundred years after the ancient Greeks first brought them up, philosophers still love asking these questions, oftentimes, the same questions, and they don’t mind that they never get an answer. Hey guys! How have you been? Hope you are all well, So lately we have been discussing Science a lo...

What is the origin of science?

I'm utterly fascinated by how individuals all through the ages have revealed truths about the universe and changed over these into an abundance of technological marvels. This cycle has diminished the enduring of millions of people—even as it's sparked completely new issues. Regardless of the outcomes of scientific inquiry, the process itself is captivating. The world you inhabit today is full of gadgets that once belonged to science fiction.  We can model what the earth looked like millions of years ago, or zoom in and observe the atoms that make up our own bodies. But the gradual transformation of man from an introvert living in dens to an extrovert exploring a whole universe of possibilities is a marvelous tale in itself. If I am going to tell that inspiring story: I'll ponder thinking with Aristotle,  digging Y-shaped canals in Song Dynasty China, listening to Ismail al-Jazari's extraordinary robot musicians in  medieval Turkey, fightin...

What exactly is Science?

How many events are happening around you as you are reading this post? can you list them all? certainly not.  Our home planet earth has more events occurring on it than we can imagine.  These events involve living organisms, inanimate structures; things that we can  see, those which we can't.  Events that amaze us and those which terrify us. The very formation of our earth was another  massive event.  These events bring with it a large number of questions that arise out of curiosity to  explain or understand the world we live in i.e. the world around us. If you have ever wondered what's going on? how  these events take place? or  why is it so? well, then you are not alone.  These questions run in the minds of billions of people every second, every day.  The answer to all these questions is simple and lies in one word.                               ...
